Major gifts

The generosity of individuals, trusts and foundations is vital to Pace. Your support gives children with neurodisabilities the best start in life.

Making a high value donation

Making a high value donation

If you are considering a significant donation to Pace, thank you. You can have a powerful impact on the lives of children with neurodisabilities, by helping to provide child-centred specialist support that can transform their futures.

If you are considering making a gift, please talk to us and we can work with you so your donation has the impact you are seeking.

Email us at: [email protected] or call 01296 616976.

If you are making a major gift, we recognise that you may want to specify how your donation is used.

You may already have a good sense of how you’d like us to direct your gift – but if not, this page provides a few ideas of how you could make an impact gift, a strategic gift, or make a gift to a specific project.

We can always help you to identify a  project or activity at Pace that will deliver the impact you want to fund.

Impact Giving

All of our work at Pace is informed by our four core strategic outcomes. You might want to align your gift to one of these specific areas of impact – perhaps with a particular focus on outcomes for children or families. You might want to specifically support wellbeing and mental health among our children, parents and carers. Or you might be more interested in systemic change – helping us to disseminate our transformational work to other providers and practitioners nationally and internationally.

Whatever impact you want to make, we can help you to find the right programme or project to fund.

Strategic giving

Alternatively, you might choose to support one of our strategic priorities: our focus on Early Intervention, our SMART Programme, or Pace Digital.

Giving to special projects

We also have a large number of specific projects that deliver great outcomes for our children and for which support is always welcome.

We’ve included three examples below to give you an idea of the breadth of our provision.

Music Therapy

The aim of music therapy is to encourage our children to express emotions and feelings that they may not be able to communicate verbally, leading to enhanced wellbeing, increased self-confidence and self-esteem, improved communication skills and improved ability to focus in academic lessons.

Hydrotherapy

Using the power of water, our aim is to give our children the opportunity to develop increased body awareness, strength and stability by working on improving overall limb function to reduce and minimise pain, and equally importantly to have fun.

Pace Upper Limb Therapy

Hands for the Future

Our aim is to give our children “Hands for the Future”, improving upper limb function, strength and stability, minimising pain and increasing their ability to learn and become more independent.
