Here is a round up of some of our learning and activities in school during this half term.

In Science, our secondary students have been learning about ‘forces’ – push and pull – putting their knowledge into practice (along with a flamingo!) to push and pull a swing and pull a rope to move a vehicle.

Over in primary, Maple group have been learning about electricity in their science lessons – they learned about battery switches and how they work.

Rowan group enjoyed learning how to make pizzas in their Daily Living Skills class – the toppings looked delicious!

We celebrated National Storytelling Week – and the Enormous Crocodile made an appearance.

Maple group have been busy creating pictures in the style of Piet Mondrian, a Dutch artist famous for being a pioneer of abstract art. We think Maple’s pictures are pretty pioneering!

Elder group worked on their upper body movements in their motor program and co-ordinated a cheerleader routine to Taylor Swift!

Well done to everyone for a fantastic first half term of the year!
