Director of Clinical Services

I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for innovation, evidence-based practice, and advanced physiotherapy. With a First-Class Honors degree from Oxford Brookes University and a Master’s in Health Research Methods from the University of Birmingham, I have a solid foundation in both clinical practice and academic research.

Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to professional development and my ability to drive positive change. As a First Contact Physiotherapist, I played a pivotal role in establishing and improving a new service within a primary care network, leading to significant improvements in efficiency and patient outcomes.

My clinical expertise extends to advanced physiotherapy, having completed a postgraduate course in injection therapy at the University of Essex. I have also served as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP), leading a team, managing medicines for two outpatient sites, and overseeing the operations of a large outpatient department. Additionally, I established and chaired a special interest injection therapy group for advanced practitioners, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice implementation.

Beyond clinical practice, my research interests are in health research, systems thinking, and critical analysis. My master’s dissertation, titled ‘Physiotherapy-led self-efficacy strategies to promote physical activity: A systematic Review.’ illustrates my dedication to evidence-based practice and my ability to contribute to the advancement of the field.

My passion for innovation and my commitment to improving patient outcomes drive me to continuously seek new opportunities for growth and development.
