We held our very first accessible festival!

We held our very first accessible festival!

On Sunday 7th June, we were delighted to host the very first PaceFEST – a day dedicated to accessibility, inclusion, community and celebration.

Held on the John Colet School playing fields in Wendover, PaceFEST brought together families, supporters, volunteers, performers, stall holders, and local organisations for a fantastic day of fun and connection. From the sensory story tent and inclusive activities to live performances, food vendors, and our much loved Superhero Mile, the event showcased what can happen when a community comes together to create something truly welcoming for everyone.

A particular highlight was seeing so many superheroes take part in the Superhero Mile, each completing the route in their own way and at their own pace. It was a wonderful reminder that inclusion is about celebrating individuality and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate.

Events like PaceFEST are only possible because of the incredible people who support them. Thank you to our volunteers, performers, stall holders, partners and everyone who attended. Your enthusiasm, generosity and commitment helped create an event that reflected the values at the heart of Pace.

We are incredibly proud of what was achieved and grateful to everyone who played a part in making the first PaceFEST such a success.

We’re already looking forward to building on this year’s event and welcoming our community back in the future!
