Due to restructuring of the Physiotherapy service at Pace an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist with appropriate clinical experience to join our transdisciplinary teams working in the Pace Special School Service.
Pace is a family centred charity providing education, therapy and family support for children with sensory-motor/neurodevelopmental disorders.
We are looking to recruit a Physiotherapist with at least 5 years experience of working with children with complex neurodevelopmental conditions predominantly cerebral palsy. This post will involve working in our school setting with children from nursery to key stage 4. Knowledge of orthopaedic and postural management is essential for this position.
The school provides a broad based curriculum for each child, delivered via a strong transdisciplinary team, consisting of Learning Support Assistants, Therapy Assistants, Teachers, Conductors, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. The children who attend the centre are aged 4-16. Pace has recently been awarded ‘outstanding’ from Ofsted.
