DESCRIPTION:Information for the day: \nRegistration & transport  \nRegistration: Wendover Memorial Hall\, Wharf Road\, Wendover\, HP22 6HF  \n\n18 mile route: registration is 7.30am to 7.55am\, coach departs at 8am\n12 mile route: registration is 9.30am to 9.55am\, coach departs at 10.10am\n 6 mile route: registration is at 11.45am to 12.10pm\, coach departs at 12.15pm\n\nRoute details \nWe recommend downloading a GPS app or GPS.studio and using it to view the GPX file while walking. The GPX file can be downloaded here \n\n\nWelcome to The BIG Walk – our favourite event of the year!  \nEvery day\, our children face challenges with their mobility. Could you do something BIG for Pace and help them reach their fullest potential?  \nThis year\, we’re excited to introduce a new route with three BIG distance options to suit everyone:  \nChoose your route:  \n\n18 miles – Apsley to Wendover \n12 miles – Berkhamsted to Wendover \n 6 miles – Tring Reservoirs to Wendover\n\nPrices \n\n£20 per adult\n£10 per child\n\nRoute details \nThe 18-mile walk starts at Apsley Marina\, following the Grand Union Canal for the first 6 miles. Walkers will then be joined by our 12-mile participants in Berkhamsted\, continuing together to Tring.  \nOur 6-mile walkers will join at Tring Reservoir\, and from there everyone will walk the beautiful Wendover Arm of the Grand Union Canal\, finishing at Wendover Memorial Hall. Refreshments and photo opportunities will be waiting at the finish line.  \nImportant information  \nChildren under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. SUMMARY:3 Peaks Challenge 2027
DESCRIPTION:The 3 Peaks Challenge is making a return for 2027 after a 5 year hiatus!  \n  \nThe Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a one-day epic adventure on 10th July 2027 to walk the three highest mountains in Yorkshire. The Yorkshire 3 Peaks covers 24 miles and the challenge is to complete the walk in 12 hours!\nTo complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks\, we must successfully summit the mighty Yorkshire mountains of Pen-y-Ghent\, Whernside and Ingleborough.\nTrekking these three mountains within 12 hours is not for the faint-hearted but provides an exhilarating and demanding challenge in some truly magnificent scenery.\nThe Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is designed to be challenging but it is certainly achievable\, just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you’ll get there! \n  \nCould you hike the 3 peaks for Pace\, and raise money to make a difference? \nRegister your interest: Yorkshire Three Peaks – register your interest \n  \nKeep an eye out here and on our socials for updates: Facebook or Instagram
