World Book Day
Last month the children and staff came to school dressed as their favourite book characters to celebrate World Book Day. We saw appearances from Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, Little Miss Sunshine and more! We had a brilliant day reading our favourite stories, learning about the characters and taking pictures of our outfits. As well as being a great day with our friends it was a wonderful learning activity for us too. Play is crucial to promoting active participation and independence in the “occupations” of our daily lives, using our imagination and believing we are that character for the day aids our emotional and behavioural development. Keep an eye on Pace News for updates on other activities in groups throughout the year.
