PACE BIG WALK ATTRACTS RECORD NUMBERS
Around 200 people took part in Saturday’s ‘Big Walk’ all fundraising for Pace, the Aylesbury-based charity that provides education and therapy for children with disabilities like cerebral palsy.
The Pace Big Walk is growing in popularity and supporters have already raised over £10,000 for the charity and the money will be put to good use supporting the 300 children and young people Pace work with each year.
The walk was well supported by the local community, coaches were donated by Motts Travel to shuttle the participants to their chosen start point (18, 12 or 6-mile routes).
Metro Bank, Co-op Food, Budgens, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer and Morrisons all supplied refreshments on the day.
“It was great to have the Pace Big Walk so well supported by our local community, it means more of the money raised goes straight to our vital services” Director of Fundraising, Caroline Bennett.
We run a host of other fundraising events: you can see what’s on by looking at our events calendar.
