The Children's Challenge
Sponsored by Continuum Leading Attractions. For children with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy even simple tasks can be their ‘Mount Everest’. The Children’s Challenge, 5 November 2009 at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, starred PACE children as young as 9 months of age. Over sixty children sought to master for the first time a key skill such as taking their first independent steps or using their voice.
At the last Children's Challenge and during It's Challenge time in 2007 enough money was raised to pay for the cost of early year’s provision for the whole of 2008.
The 2009 event raised over £60,000 to pay for the cost of helping our biggest number of children and families through Outreach and Follow up.
You can show your support today by facing head-on your own challenges big or small, physical or mental. Take the quick quiz here that reveals your own ideal challenge.
Take a few minutes to watch the very youngest children completing their challenges.
